INFORMATION FOR REGISTRATION PAGE:

What does the cost include?

Cost includes housing, food for the weekend, registration, shirt and the weekend activity. Cost is per person, for both youth and adult chaperones.

What time do we arrive on Friday?

Anytime between 4pm and 9pm. If you plan on arriving after 9pm, please let Terry know. (terry@firstalliancetoccoa.com / 740-624-0011)

What is the housing situation like at Ridgecrest Conference Center?

Each youth group will be assigned rooms that can hold up to 12 people, split up by girls and boys. Each room is required to have adult supervision staying in the room.

Can I send some of the youth to ski/snowboard and some youth to the indoor activity?

Youth groups are welcome to split up during activities, but adult supervision, provided by the youth group, is required.

If my whole group is going skiing/snowboarding, and we have a few students who do not want to, what can they do?

There is a ski lodge that students who do not want to ski and snowboard can hang out in. We will have games available for them to play or encourage them to bring a book, activity, etc.  There will be limited activities on ‘campus’ during the activity time.  Again, a leader must be with students at all times.

How do we get to the off campus activities?

Each youth group is responsible for taking their group to the off campus activities.

Where do we go skiing/snowboarding?

https://www.beechmountainresort.com

Which trampoline park are we going to?

Launch Trampoline Park Asheville, 24 Walden Dr, Arden, NC 28704.

Can our group stay off campus?

No. All groups attending the Winter Blast 2024 retreat are required to stay on campus at Ridgecrest Retreat Center. We receive a discounted rate for housing as well as the activities. In order to keep these great rates, we need everyone to participate in the offerings as a whole.

What else can we do if we don’t want to go to the trampoline park or skiing/snowboarding?

Ridgecrest Conference Center has a variety of activities available on campus including hiking and disc golf as well as Lambdin Hall (our meeting space) open to play gaga ball and nine square. There is also an indoor basketball court/gym available on campus to play games. Please contact Terry if you plan on staying on campus with your group.

What time should we expect to leave on Sunday?

The retreat will wrap up by 12pm. Lunch is not provided. Groups are required to be packed up before the last session starts and can leave following the last session.
