Powertime Camp

PTC: ALIVE

Who: Youth Groups can join together to view at their churches or individuals can watch at home if they are unable to attend the church event. (Churches will be responsible for coordinating their own details: i.e. time of arrival, lock in or go home and come back, etc.)

What: PTC: Alive – A Virtual Powertime Camp event

When: Friday, July 31st 6pm-10pm and Saturday, August 1st 9am-12pm

Where: Your church or house! Whichever you prefer! 

Why: To give the campers, counselors, and staff time to connect with each other and experience a piece of PTC…without gators…

HOW TO WATCH – Be sure to subscribe to the district’s YouTube page! (We need 100 subscribers to be able to stream this event from this platform)

  • Link will be emailed shortly as well as posted to the Powertime Camp Rocks!!! Facebook page.

REGISTRATION – We want to keep track of who all is in attendance! 

  • At the start of each session, please email shenlee93@gmail.com with the number of leaders, “campers,” and church members attending.

SENIOR PICTURES – We want to honor our seniors this year! Please send the following info to youth@thecrossviewchurch.org to have them included. 

  • Name

  • State You’re From

  • Picture of Senior

  • Submit no later than July 24th

TALENT SHOW INFO – Share your youth group’s talent!

  • Three minutes or less

  • Can be group or individual video

  • Voting: Viewers will vote during designated time (TBD)

  • To submit, email shenlee93@gmail.com, for information on how to upload video. Must ask for info by July 25th. All videos must be submitted by July 26th.

WORSHIP – We’d love to have different churches participate in our time of worship!

  • If your church’s/youth group’s worship team would like to participate, please email Josh at youth@thecrossviewchurch.org. Please note that you will not need to perform live, but rather film your worship song and send it in for us to use.

T-SHIRTS – A design is in the works for a PTC: Alive t-shirt! More info coming soon!

MARKETING* – Event flyers are attached. Feel free to print and put up in your church or share on your church’s/youth group’s social media.

Here is a worksheet that you might want to download.  You might find it useful in trying to keep track of everything.  You can also bring it with you to camp or send it with the group, in case it helps when comparing your records with ours when the group arrives

Also, please print a copy of the Parent Letter for each of your families!

Workers are no charge.  For campers, note that payment may be made online OR through your church (see your church camp coordinator for details).

Church Payment:

Church Camp Coordinators Only. Please use this form to submit your church payment.

 

We will make paper forms available by request for those churches who wish to have your camp coordinator do all the online registering.   Please do not use these forms to register. Instead, submit it to your church’s camp coordinator.
